Base Your Prayer Upon the Word of God
A key point to receiving answers to your prayers is to ask God for what you want (based upon the Word of God) and believe that you receive it. You must ask God for what you desire and believe that you receive those things you ask for when you pray. God knows what you need before you ask. You must continue to come before Him and ask Him for what you want. You are the one who is responsible for asking. God is a loving Father who wants to answer your requests.
Remaining connected to God is essential to getting answers to your prayers. Create an atmosphere for answered prayer by abiding in God and allowing His Word to abide in you. “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you” John 15:7.
You must know the will of God to receive answers to your prayers. The will of God is the Word of God. When you know the Word of God, you will have confidence that what you pray is in line with His will.
Believe You Receive
According to Mark 11:24, believe that you receive when you pray. You will have those things that you believe you receive. When you ask God for something, be sure you have pure motives and not selfish ones. Wrong motives, wrong intentions and selfishness will hinder your prayers from being answered. “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts” James 4:3.
Pray for others and your prayers will be answered. When you ask God for something that is in line with His Word, and you receive it, your joy will be full. Believe God for the finished work. Everything you need is available in the spiritual realm. Use your faith to pull it out of the unseen (spiritual) realm and into the natural. The spiritual realm is more real than the natural realm.
